Software Technical Lead
Overview
You, the fearless Technical Lead, will have hands-on responsibilities for the development, testing and deployment of Web applications. You must be a strong all-around IT pro and must have a solid understanding of PHP, Web standards, Web development best practices, Web services, Web protocols, content management systems, site management and client/server interaction. You must also enjoy troubleshooting architecture issues, and assisting in the implementation and maintenance of our hosted Linux servers. You will lead a small, tightly knit team of professionals, and possess strong team-based development abilities. You will work on multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment… and will love the challenge!
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, testing and deployment of Web applications;
- Lead implementation, configuration and testing of all data system upgrades in development and test environments prior to production rollout;
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, network, and user issues;
- Assist in planning, setup, integration and administration of hosted application servers;
- Responsible for managing relationship with data center supplier (hosted environment);
- Provide technical instruction and assistance to others in the technical team;
- Assist in determining technical requirements from larger clients;
- Take initiative to identify problems and correct them or suggest improvements;
- Document activities and procedures completely and in a timely manner;
- Manage software licensing and maintain subscriptions to ensure coverage and compliance.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years Object Oriented PHP experience;
- Server architecture experience;
- Have used other scripting languages such as perl, python, shell, etc. extensively in the past;
- Know the ins and outs of Linux, Apache, DNS, firewalls, security standards, RAID, and networking;
- Knowledge of cross-browser best practices;
- Have worked in small teams in the past where you need to wear multiple hats;
- Enjoy making customers happy through your solid technical support skills;
- Know how to reach out and find answers quickly and efficiently;
- Comfortable collaborating with other developers on project teams, including remote resources;
- Passion for online video and for the Web is a must!
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related major a plus;
- "Whatever it takes" attitude (rather than "it's not my job" attitude);

Flash/Flex/ActionScript Developer
Overview
You, the Jedi Flash developer, will have hands-on responsibilities for the development, testing and deployment of Flash-based solutions articulated around the video publishing, sharing and commerce experience. You must be a strong ActionScript/Flash/Flex developer able to build cutting edge web apps and must have a solid understanding of web standards, web development best practices, web services, web protocols, dynamic content retrieval and page rendering, site management and client/server interaction. You will be part of a tightly knit team of professionals, and possess strong team-based development abilities.
Responsibilities
- Implement all technical aspects of Flash-based projects: technical design, development, deployment and project documentation, product maintenance
- Communicate project requirements, risks, and assumptions to project team and client
- Work with rest of project team to design and build effective and creative solutions for clients within project constraints
- Provide reasonable time estimates to project managers
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of RIA development using Flash/Flex
- Solid knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 design patterns, AS3.0, MXML, XML
- General familiarity with PHP, MySQL, CSS
- Must be a team player with strong communication skills
- Must be a great UI designer with solid knowledge Photoshop and Illustrator
- Online video player development experience, a big plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related major a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in written form; systems design and architecture documents, functional specifications documents, etc.
- Demonstration of a professional demeanor with strong interpersonal, problem solving, and project skills.

Director of Sales
Overview
You are an exceptional individual, passionate about the Internet, video and media and ready to take a senior position in our sales efforts. You can take leadership in developing and managing relationships with key customers across industries adopting online video. You must have a proven track record for delivering on or exceeding revenue goals, ideally from within the enterprise platform, enterprise software or software-as-a-service industry. You must be highly motivated, extremely organized, team-oriented, creative, and possess outstanding communication and negotiating skills. This position will directly report to the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Create, implement and own a sales pipeline to manage customer lead intake, outbound activity, prioritization and metrics for measurement of deal status;
- Achieve sales goals each quarter;
- Continuously develop an extensive set of relationships at C-level, VP and Director-levels across companies and across industry categories;
- Continuously grow revenue via increased reach and penetration across numerous video content owner accounts as well as sales of new and incremental services;
- Work closely with marketing to structure presentations and negotiate optimal deal terms;
- Work closely with the customer support team to share learning across key customer accounts;
- Participate in the development and vetting of new products;
- Prepare deal summaries and contract overviews for key stakeholders;
- Travel when necessary to meet potential customers;
- Follow-up with each key account during and after product delivery to ensure total customer satisfaction and identify potential upselling opportunities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in sales, ideally for a leading software, enterprise platform or software-as-as-service company;
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, carry through and close deals;
- Proven ability to be creative and think outside the box in terms of deal structure;
- An ability to assess client needs effectively and address needs through new products and services;
- An established track record delivering on or exceeding revenue goals;
- Hands-on approach to tackling tactical as well as strategic work;
- Strong technical knowledge and appreciation;
- Confirmed ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative is a must;
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills;
- BA/BS in sales, business management or related field.

Overview

Responsibilities
- Create customer happiness by fielding, resolving and responding to customer requests, complaints and issues;
- Generate leads and call lists, and qualify prospects via Web, email and phone research;
- Work closely with the customer support and marketing teams to share learning across customer accounts;
- Contribute in the development and testing of new products; reporting bugs/issues and feature requests;
- Assist in the processing and management of customer accounts;
- Follow-up with customers during and after product delivery to ensure total customer satisfaction and identify potential up-selling opportunities;
- Additional administrative duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills;
- Previous experience in a related field, a plus;
- Interests should include any number of the following: Online video, E-commerce, Web 2.0 applications, Search Engine Optimization and Marketing, Web development technologies (building and maintaining Web sites, Web design)
- Four-year college degree a plus, preferably in sales, business management, marketing or related field;
